Well it happes frequently and it happens to me.  And yes I feel idiotic at times because in the real world such things just do not happen.  Well in the 'real world' there is no magick other than prestidigitation... magic of stage magicians (that is why I adopted the spelling of 'magick').  And in this best of all possible worlds (not, I hope), nothing exists that you cannot catagorize and replicate.  Science has long been my best tool, even though I am by nature an emotional type.  And I can tell you that empiricism is only the beginning of Wisdom.  

It is my experience that when two people meet and intercourse on the internet, they are also intertwining on the other plains as well, or if you prefer, mentally, and more powerfully, emotionally.  When we open ourselves to the impossible, the journey that magick provides, we accept to our core that anything conceived can and does exist somewhere.  So it is no great step to say that when I am talking to someone who is very attracted to me or I to them via picture that there is a connection.  Hermes's hand is in this, as the message is sent through the Will as energy through time and space to the other person who feels it and responds.

This has occurred when there was not Internet (hard to remember that there was no Internet really back in the early 1990s besides the Web used by edus) people communicated through letters and would join Pen Pal clubs geared to a particular theme.  In one, I met a young man of 22 who was greatly taken by 'something' he read or felt in my initial introduction letter.  We corresponded and it felt like a curcuit had been opened.  One Friday, I wrote and mailed a letter to him describing a dream I had the night before.  I dreamt I was on all fours, running through a small house.  I came up through the living room and jumped on the couch.  My friend came out of the bedroom looking scared. But then he saw me, and I was sure I greeted him.  Then he turned into a large White Wolf.  I realized I was a large Grey Wolf, and together we ran out of the side door bounding and yapping with joy across the long grass damp with early morning dew.

I received his letter that Saturday, one day after I posted mine, in which he described a dream he had Friday morning.  It was exactly the same dream, except from his perspective and what he saw on the couch was a very large, Grey Wolf and when he started to feel fear, it smiled and looked tame... yapping happily.  

To which he found himself morphing into a Large White Wolf and off the two went through the back door to romp in the grass outside on their way to the forest.

He had not yet received my letter.  When he did on the following Tuesday, it freaked him out.  He sent the envelope and a very excited letter.  He chose to break off our connection because his girlfriend did not like where it was going.  I lost track of him after that.  

So it is quite possible that with an open mind, open heart, there is a chance that we share energy and therefore emotion across the internet.  What we do with that is up to us.  But the connections are there.  It is not so strange after all.

I was trained in an eclectic Alexanderian/Gardnerian Wicca achieving first degree.

Since then, at the behest and supported by my HP, I have been solitary and following a path of personal growth through meditation and visualization.

I live in Denver, Colorado, and am retired with disabilities.  Amazingly I live with my ex-wife, Pat, who very generously has taken me in along with a long time friend, Dennis.  We live in a large, comfortable home with Sacha, Pat's Golden Retriever, and my very best friend, Cassie (Cassandra), a seven year old Dachshund.

Since being retired, I have turned to writing as a creative outlet; published a book of poems stemming from my coming out as a Gay male, and writing horror, fantasy and Science Fiction.  Other hobbies include : model building, accurizing and detailing, piano and Baroque Music, history, philosophy, mythology, anthropology and linguistics; particle physics, astronomy, String Theory and M Theory (conceptually not arithmetically), Classical Traditional Bujutsu and Taijiquan, primarily Yang Lu Chan, but also Chen, and Sung; Chin'Na, and Shiatsu/acupuncture.  I am fascinated by the human body and have read widely on it from Grey's Anatomy to the treatise of the Yellow Emperor, and in part the known fragments of Galen.
